This circa 1972 Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 combines classic vintage Rolex design with custom diamond detailing. Crafted from solid 18k yellow gold, it features the traditional 36 mm Oyster case and iconic President bracelet associated with one of Rolex’s most recognizable collections.
The watch is fitted with an aftermarket champagne diamond dial featuring diamond hour markers and gold-tone hands. An aftermarket diamond bezel adds approximately 1.00 total carat weight of diamonds, estimated at SI1 clarity and H–I color.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Caliber 1556 automatic movement. This vintage, non-quickset movement displays the day spelled out in full at 12 o’clock and the date beneath a Cyclops magnifier at 3 o’clock. The watch is protected by an acrylic crystal, preserving the warm appearance associated with the Ref. 1803.
