This is a circa 1972 Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II “Racing Dial” Ref. 145.014. Introduced in 1969 as the first major redesign of the Speedmaster, the Mark II features a distinctive barrel-shaped stainless-steel case and a colorful racing-style dial that captures the bold design language of the era.
The gray dial is accented by orange and red details, contrasting chronograph registers, and a tachymeter scale positioned beneath the mineral crystal. Powering the watch is Omega’s manually wound Caliber 861 chronograph movement—the same movement family associated with vintage Speedmaster Professional models of this period.
This example is fitted with a stainless-steel bracelet and includes its papers. The watch remains in collectible vintage condition with visible wear, including scratches on the bracelet and mineral crystal. Professional crystal replacement and case refinishing can be discussed upon request.
