This circa 1961 Rolex Datejust 36 Ref. 1601 is a rare vintage example crafted entirely from 18K rose gold. Its classic 36mm Oyster case is complemented by a fluted rose gold bezel, an acrylic crystal and a matching 18K rose gold Jubilee bracelet.

The silver pie-pan dial features applied rose gold baton hour markers, matching hands and a date window beneath Rolex’s signature Cyclops magnifying lens at 3 o’clock. The watch is powered by a Rolex automatic mechanical movement with a traditional non-quickset date function.
