This circa 1960 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 1005 is a distinctive example of mid-century Rolex design. Often described as “Zephyr-style” by collectors, the watch features a champagne crosshair dial and an engraved 14k yellow gold bezel that give it a character unlike the standard Oyster Perpetual models of the period.

The 34 mm stainless steel Oyster case is accented by a yellow gold bezel and crown. Its naturally aged champagne dial displays applied gold hour markers, gold hands, and the desirable crosshair layout associated with vintage Zephyr designs.
